Appliance Therapist SMS Messaging Program
Program Description
The Appliance Therapist SMS Messaging Program sends text messages to customers who affirmatively opt in. You may receive SMS messages related to your appliance repair service. Messages may include:
- Appointment confirmations and reminders
- Technician arrival time (ETA) updates
- Service completion summaries, invoices, and payment links
- Service follow-ups and repair summaries
- Review requests and occasional membership updates (only if you separately opt in)
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your service request and interaction with Appliance Therapist. Typically, you will receive 1–5 messages per service request. You may receive additional messages if you submit multiple service requests or engage in ongoing communication about your repair.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data rates will apply to any messages you send or receive. Appliance Therapist is not responsible for any charges from your wireless provider.
Opt-In
You will only receive SMS messages from Appliance Therapist if you affirmatively opt in by one of the following methods:
- Checking the SMS consent box on our website booking form
- Initiating a chat conversation on our website and voluntarily providing your phone number
- Providing express written consent in another form (for example, replying START to a message)
Opting in to SMS is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from Appliance Therapist. You may book and receive all of our services without agreeing to SMS.
To re-subscribe after opting out, reply START to any previous message from us, or provide written consent again through our website.
Opt-Out Instructions
To stop receiving text messages from Appliance Therapist at any time, reply STOP to any message you receive from us. You will receive a one-time confirmation message that you have been unsubscribed. After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us unless you opt in again.

Our SMS program is supported on most major U.S. carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and others. Carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

AI-Powered Calls
Appliance Therapist may use an AI-powered voice assistant to place outbound phone calls to help diagnose appliance issues and assist with scheduling. Automated calls are only placed to customers who have requested service and provided a phone number. You may decline or end any call at any time, and you may ask to speak with a human by pressing any key or saying "representative." Automated calls are not a condition of receiving service from Appliance Therapist — all of our services remain available to you regardless of whether you participate in an AI-assisted call.
